Well I had to leave Jackies and return home, I sure do miss my little ones there (the big ones too), it sure was hard to leave them, I know that the time is counting down until they will be moving back, but it is still hard. I will be back though.

I haven't posted for a while. Returned to 2 new (refurbished) rooms. They look wonderful, I have been trying to get moved back into them and trying to put everything away, boy what a job. There is so much paper work to go through, I have a lot of unfilled Genealogy and correspondence to go along with it, (can't trough anything away, if you know what I mean).

A lot has happened this past few months, I have 2 new Great-Grand children one is Colby's little boy
and one is Holly's little girl

This last couple of months I have had a grand son graduate from High SchoolPhotobucketagrand daughter graduate from Snow Collage,
and a grandson return home from a mission
I also have a son-in-law who earned his PHD, they placed the hood on his head as part of the graduation ceremony for his PhD. It was his fourth college graduation since he has an undergrad and two master's degrees.
He walked across the stage (and was the very first to receive his degree that day, first out of hundreds might I add) . I am very proud of them congratulations to them all, that is a lot of hard work.

Just a little shopping at Old San Juan

It was a beautiful day for some shopping
and a little sight seeing in Old San Juan.
This is Jackie by a giant gum tree just outside
of the west wall in Old San Juan.

Here I am in front of the same tree.

Here is the west wall. To the left of me is the beach.

Notice my new necklace and earings? Jackie and I have had a lot of fun collecting new jewelry over the past couple of weeks.

Here I am standing by the west wall of Old San Juan pointing to the beach by Jackies house.

Just strolling along...

Just out for a little morning exercise.
This is the beach near Jackie's house.
She pushing Sammy in stroller.

Grandma pushing Sammy in stroller.

Sammy has the best seat. When is Sammy going to push someone in the stroller?

Carpeting is in!!!

You can see the design of the carpet here. There are no lights in the room connected up, so it's dark pictures.
The stairs still need to have carpeting applied.
It looks more spotted than it really is.

Painted walls!!!
West wall
These were taken with my cell phone. I thought I would just go check things out and found
they had painted the walls. All I had was my cell phone.
South Wall
I hope you can tell the color. It does look just like the color in the front room.

Now who let them in???
"We love you Grandma"!

They still need to take care of the chimney hole.

The trim is also painted already. The hole in the ceiling is waiting for word about the roof.

It's looking GREAT!!!

They have applied the primer to the walls. This is the South Wall.
The North and West walls.
The ceiling is actually painted and is the color you see here.

Beach fun

Those two can really get with the Waves.

The little one is 'about' getting ready to play, he doesn't like getting to close to the waves.
This is what "Jackie does while the rest of us play"

This is the Life ,don't know the other person in the picture.
Perhaps I should have removed my sunglasses before the water did it for me.

The Rest of the Story

Okay--don't let him fool you. He's really a vicious monster!
We set the trap several times and checked several times during the week to see if
he had investigated it. He only moved the trap around but did not enter it. This time he had no other place to go for a meal. He resisted as long as he could, but when you are hiding out
in a heater vent and you smell yummy tuna fish all day long, you're bound to find out where
the smell is coming from. His nose lead him right to the trap and inside for a little taste. Hence the trap snapped and we had our trespasser.--
Now what to do with him!!!????

That's where our Animal Control Officer comes back into the story.
A call was placed that we were bringing the cat to him (In the cage of course). He would find a nice little animal shelter to keep the cat warm for a time. We'll leave the rest of the story to your imagination. Needless to say if anyone wants a good "watch cat" and you have padded windows and doors, you could find one like the one pictured above at the animal shelter
(If it hasn't knocked the cage door down)!
